Sweet Potato and Dill Tuna Patties

These tuna patties are easy, delicious, and paleo!

  • 1 can tuna
  • 1/2 cup cooked sweet potato, mashed
  • 2 TBS white onion, chopped
  • 2 TBS fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 TBS coconut oil
  • 1 TBS lemon juice
  • 1 TBS water
  • 1 TBS tapioca starch
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • coconut oil for frying


  • Drain liquid from can of tuna.
  • In medium mixing bowl, combine tuna, mashed sweet potato, white onion, dill, lemon juice, coconut oil, and salt.
  • Form mixture into 4 patties.
  • Add coconut oil to frying pan and heat over medium heat. Once oil is hot, add patties and brown on eat side, 3-4 minutes per side.
  • Service with veggie side of choice. Enjoy!
