Berry Smoothie
This smoothie is great for breakfast or snacks, and is kid friendly! A lot of our patients use this smoothie as a recipe to help kids take their supplements. Using canned coconut milk makes it creamy and thick, and it lasts for a few days in the fridge!
Equipment
- 1 blender or Vitamix
Ingredients
- 1 avocado ripe
- 2 cups frozen mixed berries organic
- 1 lemon juiced
- 1 can canned coconut milk Native Forest brand, Simple, no guar gum
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a blender. Blend until smooth. Consistency will be thick, like a yogurt. Enjoy cold with a spoon!
Notes
Makes 2 large smoothies; can be kept in the refrigerator for up to 3 days
