Paleo Bison Chili

This delicious bison chili is paleo and easy to make. It's the perfect fall or winter meal. Top with avocado or vegan sour cream and enjoy!

  • 2 pounds ground bison
  • 1 small sweet potato chopped
  • 1 small yellow onion chopped
  • 1 zucchini chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper chopped
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 cup mushrooms
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 1-2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1-2 tsp cumin


  • Sautee the onions and add ground bison. Cook until the meat is browned. Set aside.
  • Combine all veggies, tomato sauce, and tomato paste in a pot and cook until veggies are soft. Stir in the meat and let simmer for 5-10 minutes.
  • Garnish with avocado, bacon, or vegan cheese, like Violife cream cheese
