Paleo Bison Chili
This delicious bison chili is paleo and easy to make. It's the perfect fall or winter meal. Top with avocado or vegan sour cream and enjoy!
Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground bison
- 1 small sweet potato chopped
- 1 small yellow onion chopped
- 1 zucchini chopped
- 1 red bell pepper chopped
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 cup mushrooms
- 1 can tomato paste
- 1-2 tsp garlic powder
- 1-2 tsp cumin
Instructions
- Sautee the onions and add ground bison. Cook until the meat is browned. Set aside.
- Combine all veggies, tomato sauce, and tomato paste in a pot and cook until veggies are soft. Stir in the meat and let simmer for 5-10 minutes.
- Garnish with avocado, bacon, or vegan cheese, like Violife cream cheese
